Peach Ice Cream Recipe for Ice Cream Maker
My daughter Jennifer makes a frequent escape to Pittsburg, Texas each year around her birthday in June to Efurd Orchards for getting fresh peaches.
I created this recipe from her Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream recipe. The recipe is likely to make enough frozen treats for the 6-quart frozen treats freezer.
Even though we choose this recipe repeatedly in the summertime, this recipe is good for making any season!

- 8 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cans eagle brand milk
- 2 cans evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1/2 cups fresh peaches pureed
- Whole milk
- With an electric mixer using a wire whisk beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Add salt, eagle brand milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and peaches and beat until the sugar is dissolved and all the ingredients are mixed well.
- Pour into freezer container and add milk until fill line on the container is reached. DO NOT OVER FILL.
- Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions for your freezer. Makes 6-quarts ice cream.
